Reckon you know Southern culture? You ain’t seen nothing yet. Roll up, grab a glass of moonshine, and bathe in the juicy, aural bliss that is Dianne Cripps and Southern Comfort!

Offering a diverse mix of jazz standards, blues, and re-imagined pop-rock tunes, Southern Comfort captures the narrative and beauty of Cripps’ history as a daughter of the Appalachian cultural region. Vocalist Dianne has charmed audiences with this amazing show from The Hydro Majestic, Foundry616, and Johnston Street Jazz to rave reviews and encores.

“Dianne Cripps is something of a dynamo!” – Loretta Barnard, Australian Jazz Net

Dianne obtained her music degree from George Mason University, USA, and studied with Australian jazz luminaries Judy Bailey and Michelle Nicolle.

A natural-born storyteller and an incredible creative at heart, Cripps’ voice too is one-in-a-million. Rich, measured, and captivating, her audiences are taken in by the complete and utter artistry of her presence. She has performed around the world from the US Capitol steps to the Sydney Opera House.

Dianne’s band features Australia’s most exciting gold class musicians including Montreux Jazz competition Finalist Felix Lalanne on guitar, internationally acclaimed Mike Quigley on drums, and award-winning double bassist Elsen Price.
