Saturday 5 February from 10am to 12pm
Wushu, or Chinese martial arts, is a cultural heritage gem in China used for physical fitness and self-defence. Wushu is practiced through exercises based on movements employed in fighting. It is practiced barehanded or with weapons.
CYL Wushu Group has participated in some noticeable performances, including the Beijing Olympics fundraiser in 2007, Chinese New Year celebrations and Autumn Moon Festivals.
With many members completing training at the China Chan Wu training centre, the forms and philosophies learnt were brought back and integrated with the training program. This allows us to demonstrate what we learnt at consequent performances such as at the Sydney Chinese School.
Using strength, discipline and focus, wushu helps you to develop physically and mentally.
You're welcome to join CYL wushu workshop.
