Connect Sydney: Aboriginal cultural awareness training

Join this session to develop your awareness and knowledge of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander culture. Learn how culture shapes our values, attitudes and behaviours and increase your awareness of inclusive practices.

The training covers Aboriginal protocols and practices, dreaming and spirituality and cultural safety. Also learn about Aboriginal and Australian history and Aboriginal history of Redfern.

Registration is essential for each workshop. Spaces are limited. You can register for one or more workshops. See other training topics.

This training is part of the City of Sydney’s Connect Sydney program and is presented by Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander organisation and facilitators. The program offers free skills and capacity building opportunities for community, not-for-profit, charitable and other social purpose organisations that operate in or service the City of Sydney’s local area.
