Voltaren City2Surf returns in August for its 56th year, bringing tens of thousands of runners, walkers, families and supporters together for the World's Largest Fun Run!

Starting in the heart of the city and finishing at Bondi Beach, City2Surf is an iconic and achievable 14km course that showcases some of Sydney’s most recognisable streets, neighbourhoods and coastal views.

Since 2008, when the fundraising tally was first recorded, our incredible participants have raised over $62 million for charities across Australia. A city giving back has become the beating heart of this event.

Along the course, you’ll experience live entertainment, neighbourhood cheer zones, and the famous Heartbreak Hill. Whether you’re aiming for a personal best, fundraising for a cause, or simply enjoying the atmosphere, Voltaren City2Surf offers a uniquely Sydney way to get active and connect with the community.

Maybe it’s the only event you do each year, or maybe you’re a running fanatic. Maybe it’s supporting your favourite charity, or maybe it's just for the cheeky post-race celebrations. Whatever your why, Voltaren City2Surf is about doing it your way.

Join us on Sunday, 9 August 2026, for Sydney's biggest dance party!
