Immerse yourself in the vibrant culture of Chinatown, Sydney with a free guided walking tour of public art and historically significant sites.
Led by local artists, you’ll gain insider knowledge into the incredible sculptures, installations, light works and murals visited on the tour.
The Chinatown at Night tour begins on the corner of Thomas and Hay Streets (at the entrance to Market City) and will conclude in Darling Square. The tour will run for 1-1.5 hrs.
Let us make your decision and easy one! Soul of Chinatown has curated a list of impeccable bars and eateries to visit before and after your tour. Ticket holders will receive a link to the guide leading up to the tour. The guide was developed with funding made available through the NSW Government's Summer Night Fund program.
Who can attend?
This program is open to all people. Tours are presented in spoken English and attendees with mobility needs should be advised that the tour may include uneven terrain, ramps and moderate inclines.
Wet Weather
This program is held outdoors and subject to weather conditions. Tours will be cancelled if a severe weather warning has been issued. Participants will be notified of tour cancellation on the day. Please bring wet weather gear in the instance of light rain.

If you or someone you have booked a ticket for is no longer able to attend this event, please cancel your ticket through Eventbrite, allowing others to join.
Survey upon completion:
The City of Sydney is interested to learn about your experience on this tour. We will email you a survey to complete anonymously, following the tour. Your responses will be used to inform future programming and may be used for reporting purposes.
