Our expert tutor will guide you in building practise-oriented skills, so you can construct ceramic forms both at the wheel and using hand-building techniques.
You’ll have the opportunity to create functional vessels each lesson and will learn important principles of clay technology. You will explore artistic techniques such as pinch potting, coiling and slab building. You’ll also learn how to apply slips, glazes, and other surface treatments such as sgraffito and wax resist.
