Ceramics: beginner handbuilding and wheel throwing

When

Wednesday 8 May from 6pm to 8:30pm

Cost

Full price: $312Concession: $250

Our expert tutor will guide you in building practise-oriented skills, so you can construct ceramic forms both at the wheel and using hand-building techniques.

An expert tutor will guide students through various clay production techniques with a focus on process and experimentation. You’ll be introduced to formative artists that work in ceramics and will gain an understanding of basic principles of working with clay.

By the end of the course you’ll have finished either one sustained work or a collection of smaller pieces ready for firing.

If you’re a continuing student or have some ceramics experience, you’ll be supported to develop your skills by taking more complex approaches to your work.
