Build practice-oriented skills and construct ceramic forms at the wheel.

An expert tutor will guide students through various clay production techniques with a focus on process and experimentation. You’ll hone your wheel throwing skills and will gain an understanding of the basic principles of working with clay.

By the end of the course you’ll have finished either one sustained work or a collection of smaller pieces ready for firing.

If you’re a continuing student or have some ceramics experience, you’ll be supported to develop your skills by taking more complex approaches to your work.
