Using ancient techniques that have been around for 1’000’s of years, you can create rhythms for some common songs (such as, ‘Happy Birthday to You’, and more…) as well as develop your own unique style and ‘signature move’.

Body percussion is a great way to get up and have fun learning about rhythms and coordination, group interaction and teamwork, personal musical ability and listening - and have fun together bringing out the inner drummer in you!

In this class, we'll firstly all learn a little bit about clapping, tapping, slapping, snapping and stomping. Then, we’ll form two groups that will play against each other rhythmically - team coordination and individual listening is a must.

Lastly, we’ll ask a few volunteer soloists to a final ‘play-off’ between the groups! This class is perfect if you're looking for virtual team building activities.

All ages are welcome and no previous musical experience or instruments are necessary!

Suitable for adults, and kids (minimum 12 years old). An adult must accompany any attending kids. The adult may observe at the class for free.
