HSC English Practice Exam Sessions
Thursday 10 July from 2pm to 4pm Friday 11 July from 2pm to 4:30pm
It is vital to complete a full, timed practice exam before HSC trials. Many students lose marks due to not managing time properly in the exam. The only way to practice this skill is to handwrite a full paper under timed conditions – all the modules, back to back.
Our HSC English practice exam session provides:
A completely new HSC paper for you to practice adapting your responses to.
An environment in which you can practice sitting a HSC exam with other students.
An invigilator to provide guidance on managing time in the exam, letting you know when you should switch between sections and providing assistance if you are completely stuck on a question.
Detailed feedback on your practice response to help you improve your responses.
Our online exams take place on a video call, with an invigilator supervising and giving you advice as to when to switch over between sections of the exam. You can still handwrite your responses.
After sitting the exam the invigilator will help you to scan your response and send it to our markers.
One of our expert tutors will then provide you with a mark against a HSC marking criteria as well as detailed feedback on each paragraph of your response, including what you did well and specific suggestions as to what to change and improve.
You will receive your marks and feedback as soon as possible, with a maximum turnaround time of 3 days (ideally sooner!)
This workshop is suitable for both English Advanced and English Standard – we will have both papers available.
In addition to these online exams, we are running other sessions at Parramatta, Epping and Hurstville.
