Beginner drawing at Ultimo Community Centre

Learn core drawing skills including line, tone, form and texture while developing a range of mark making techniques.

During this 4-week course, our experienced tutor will teach you how to develop your understanding of a range of mediums including pencils, charcoal and ink.

From simple line drawings to more detailed renderings, you’ll develop observational skills and confidence to tackle bigger drawing projects.

Full instruction provided on materials, products, tools, equipment and studio procedures.

This course takes place on Sundays over 4 weeks: 

  • Week 1: 11 May, 10:15am to 12:45pm 

  • Week 2: 18 May, 10:15am to 12:45pm

  • Week 3: 25 May, 10:15am to 12:45pm

  • Week 4: 1 June, 10:15am to 12:45pm

Small class size: maximum 12 students 

Level: designed for beginner level students 

Wear: comfortable clothing and enclosed shoes 

Bring: yourself – all materials provided
