Taylor Square north
Taylor Square north
Oxford Street, Darlinghurst NSW 2010
The Substation
When
  • Thursday 17 September from 1pm to 2:30pm
Cost

Adult: $15

Create your own site-specific artist book using texture relief prints as you explore Taylor Square, capturing textures, stories, and impressions from the area.

A City of Sydney historian will join the walk and share how this precinct has transformed over time. Artists from Pine Street Creative Arts Centre will guide you to make a mini relief print book using kneadable putty to take texture impressions directly from the site.

Enjoy a unique blend of history, creativity, and storytelling in the heart of Sydney.

Please note: this event is weather dependent.

Meeting point: The Substation, located at the Northern end of Taylor Square

What to Bring:

  •  All materials provided — just bring your creativity!

  •  Wear enclosed shoes and comfy clothes

  •  A water bottle and hat are recommended

Based around Taylor Square, this workshop features minimal walking on even surfaces, making it accessible for all.

We aim to deliver inclusive and accessible events. If you have any particular access or communication needs please contact Pine Creative Arts Centre on 02 9265 9333 or pinestreet@cityofsydney.nsw.gov.au
