Austere – the Australian harbingers of sorrowful, melancholic blackened majesty – return to their sacred homeland in May 2025, bearing with them new, soul-shattering hymns to invoke the shadows of despair.

In a rare and exclusive ritual, the band will perform three ritualistic rites along the cursed east coast of Australia, offering their devotees a glimpse into the abyss with a performance unlike any before.

Accompanying them on this unholy pilgrimage will be Skuggor, the Swedish conjurors of atmospheric black metal, making their Australian debut and casting their haunting, spectral melodies upon the land. Also gracing the stage will be Paroxysmal Descent, Brisbane’s own disciples of the abyss, whose ritualistic black metal chants and incantations have left a trail of broken souls in their wake.

Local support will also rise from the void in each city to amplify the darkness.
