As our Artist In Focus for May, we have had the pleasure of interviewing South Australian-based visual artist, Rebecca Hastings.

MAY SPACE Online artist Rebecca Hastings has been exhibiting with the Gallery since last year, with her first solo exhibition Two minutes to midnight (Aug 2020). As our Artist in Focus for the month, Rebecca will bring us right into the midst of her studio and the creation of a new series of work. Over the course of the month, new in depth videos produced by director Roh Smith exploring her practice, themes, concepts and subject matter will be released. Rebecca’s fascination with the post-human condition, modern anxieties over technology, climate and diplomatic disaster will bring us a deeper understanding of her work.
