WHAT TO EXPECT

Over the span of an 8 week evening course, you’ll delve into the most significant art movements of the early 20th century, and actively participate by experimenting with various styles every two weeks, such as acrylic painting on canvas.

Absolutely no prior experience required! Our classes warmly welcome participants of all skill levels. Join us as we introduce you to the world of expressive painting in this exciting new class. All necessary equipment will be provided, just bring along your enthusiasm!

Led by a passionate artist, you’ll delve into the realm of creative exploration, nurturing your imagination, cultivating self-expression, and refining your unique artistic vision. Through interactive activities, multimedia resources, and expert guidance, you’ll develop essential skills for unleashing your creativity. This workshop offers a vibrant social atmosphere, fostering collaboration and connection among fellow adult artists.

ABOUT THE ARTIST

Kristine Ballard is an artist and arts educator with a rich background in both professional design and fine arts. She helps artists personalise their work, manage their practices, and stay inspired. With over 25 years of design experience, she has also developed and facilitated art programs. Kristine specialises in one-on-one art classes and mentoring, and her own artwork explores contemporary still life and landscape themes. She exhibits her art widely and has received multiple art residencies. Kristine combines her design and fine arts skills to empower students at all levels of their artistic journey.

Duration: 1.5 hours per session x 8 weeks

Day: Wednesdays, starting from May 8th

Time: 7:00 PM – 8:30 PM

Instructor: Kristine Ballard, a seasoned art professional, will lead the sessions.
