Annaliesa Rose is making her Sydney debut in the jazz scene here and wishes to take you on a journey through some of her favourite songs including standards, swing, bossa nova, and originals. She hopes the audience can have a fun night and enjoy this music with her. Annaliesa has always been singing and involved in the performing arts, including being in the Millennium Marching Band which played at the opening and closing ceremony of the Sydney 2000 games.

Learning from Australian jazz royalty Kerrie Biddell before moving to Canberra for her Bachelor of Music in Jazz at ANU. Annaliesa has performed at many venues and festivals and has her debut album “Is That Jazz?” available for purchase from her or through Bandcamp. Annaliesa is sharing her love of music with you with the hope you have a place for it in your heart and enjoy her vocal tone and animated, down-to-earth personality.

Her quintet features Andrew Robertson’s enchanting tone on flute and saxophone, and the fabulous rhythm section with Luke Sweeting (piano), Guy Vaughan-Smith (bass), and Trevor Kettlewell (drums).
