About the speaker

Tom is a social entrepreneur with a passion for using technology and business to build a better world and help others do the same. He is the co-founder of StartSomeGood, an innovation agency and global social enterprise ecosystem builder, and co-founder and Chief Impact Officer of LendForGood, a new impact investment platform.

For over a decade, Tom has been supporting emerging social entrepreneurs around the world to design, test, open and grow social impact projects that increase the pace of innovation for social change. He co-founded the Centre for Social Impact and the Social Enterprise Council of NSW and the ACT (SECNA), the Changemakers Festival with the Australian Centre for Social Innovation (TACSI), and youth non-profit, Vibewire. He is also a board member at the Centre for Social Impact, Australia's leading social impact research and teaching organisation and has worked with enterprises including TwoGood, Humanitix, FBi Radio, SBS, Good Beer Co, Radio SkidRow, Chocolate on Purpose and The Asylum Seekers Resource Centre.
