Thursday 14 August from 10:30am to 11:30am
Little Artists at Juanita Nielsen Community Centre: My favourite meal
Children will explore their favourite foods and why they love them so much. During this session, children will learn about artists who use food as a theme or as a medium to create artwork. Following story time, children will get crafty and create a 3D sculpture of their favourite meal using a range of mixed media materials such as tissue paper, wool, pom poms and more!
Spark your child’s creativity with Little Artists art workshops, led by professional art educator Sam Relihan. Designed for children aged 2 to 5 years, these sessions combine storytelling, sensory play and hands-on art making.
Each workshop offers a fun, welcoming space for children to explore their creativity while developing fine motor skills. It’s a fantastic opportunity to bond, get messy, and ignite imagination in a relaxed, playful setting.
A parent, grandparent or carer is also required to attend and encouraged to join the fun.
These workshops take place weekly on Thursday mornings. Bookings essential as spaces are limited.
