Abstract Painting (6-11)
Thursday 30 January from 9:30am to 12:30pm
Young artists will explore the world of abstract painting! Students will learn to express their feelings and ideas through Colours, shape, and gesture. They'll discover how to paint without the need to represent real things, focusing instead on what their imagination inspires.
Throughout the course, kids will:
Experiment with colours, gestures, patterns.
Learn basic painting techniques like brushwork, layering, and mixing colours.
Create their own unique abstract artwork using fun, creative exercises.
Build confidence in expressing themselves through art.
This class encourages creativity, imagination, and self-expression, providing a fun way for kids to explore art in a new, exciting way! No previous painting experience is required—just bring an open mind and a love for colour!
