Grab your Santa hat – and your sunscreen – because it’s time to celebrate a summer Christmas. Here are some of the best ways to get festive in Sydney.
Christmas in the City
Christmas in Sydney officially begins when the heart of the city centre comes alive with roaming entertainers, choirs, lights and decorations. The Martin Place Christmas tree’s sound and light show takes off every 15 minutes from 7.30pm and fireworks illuminate Sydney’s spectacular skyline.
Santa will arrive to say hello in his reindeer tricycle sleigh. KIIS 1065 will bring a Christmas day at the beach to the heart of the city. Santa stockings packed with goodies will be on sale for $5. Proceeds go to our charity partner Surf Life Saving NSW.
