World Cognac day

World Cognac Day, Sunday 4 June, and in celebration of this global event, from 31st of May, the world’s most historically recognised cognac brand, Monnet Cognac, is partnering with four leading bars across the East Coast, providing exclusive cognac cocktails designed to introduce this spirit to a new generation of drinkers!

Experience this activation come to life, at any of the following venues, Savile Row Bar (Brisbane), The Cloakroom Bar (Melbourne), Hendriks Cognac and Wine Bar (Sydney), and Hendriks Bar and Grill (Southern Highlands). It will be the perfect way to sip your way through this year’s World Cognac Day, with each venue offering specialised cognac cocktails for one week only!

The World Cognac Day activation is open to the public to attend and enjoy from the 31st of May to the 4th of June, created by Monnet Cognac to help showcase this versatile spirit. For one week only, guests at the participating bars will be able to taste themed cocktails featuring Monnet Cognac’s varietals including the Monnet Highball, Tiki Twist, and a Brandy Alexander. The bars participating will have their own unique cocktail offerings that will be created by their skilled bartenders just for the occasion.

Across the globe, cognac has traditionally been enjoyed by older generations for centuries but has often been labelled inaccessible or unaffordable for many younger consumers. Monnet would like to break down those beliefs and barriers, and this World Cognac Day, connect with as many people to tap into the pleasures of this diverse spirit, either enjoyed neat or mixed into creative cocktails. Monnet wants to ignite the curiosity and palate by offering bar goers a way to discover the sophisticated flavours that lie within a glass of this refined liquid.
