This workshop is a perfect opportunity for kids aged 9-13 to come together with a parent, grandparent or another family member to explore their family history. Each child will have the chance to interview their family member, to create a memoir of their own that they can take home, continue to work on and keep as a memory.

The activity is inspired by the children’s book 'The Happiest Boy on Earth', which depicts a beautiful moment between the 101-year-old Holocaust survivor Eddie Jaku and his great-grandchildren, as he shares his incredible life story.

Whether your child is discovering a new culture or celebrating their own heritage, SJM Kids programs create an educational environment for children and parents of all faiths and backgrounds.

This program is brought to you in partnership with PJ Library. Bookings are essential. Children must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.
