About the tutor

Jane Guthleben practices centres around botanical collections that draw on historical and environmental themes. Through her still life paintings she explores vibrant compositions of native flora and fauna. A passionate educator and an accomplished artist, Guthleben has had numerous solo and group shows. She has been a finalist in the Portia Geach Memorial Portrait Prize, the Archibald Prize, Mosman Art Prize, Ravenswood Women's Art Prize and the Fisher's Ghost Art Prize among others.
