“Wine and family are the heart and soul of Corryton Burge.”
Join us in Cellos as we welcome Trent Burge, 6th Generation, Co-Owner at Corryton Burge Wines for this intimate educational lunch.
The Burge family name is synonymous with the Australian wine industry. The launch of Corryton Burge by the 6th generation brother and sister duo; Trent and Amelia Burge is the next step in the family’s winemaking journey.
“Our roots stretch back six generations to one of the original settler families of the Barossa Valley. Wine isn’t just something we make, it is a part of who we are. We don’t work in the wine industry, we live it. Every single day. So, when you pick up a bottle of Corryton Burge, you can be sure we haven’t just made great wine. We’ve put our heart and soul into it.”
THE WINES
Grape growing regions and individual vineyards have been selected to best express each varietal. Fruit-driven winemaking practices allow each wine to clearly and simply assert its true character. The Corryton Burge ‘Kith’ and ‘Kin’ ranges celebrate the valued relationships of both friends and family.
“Two principles guide our Corryton Burger winemaking philosophy: Firstly, wine is a simple pleasure that brings family and friends together. Secondly, be true to the variety.” – Grant & Trent Burge.
