Freddy West Tjakamarra was a pioneering painter from Papunya Tula Artists. He was also instrumental in the return of the Pintupi people to their Homelands from Papunya in the 1980s. Several of his children are now prominent artists, and leaders in their communities.

This is the first time an exhibition has focused on this family. From the remote towns of Kiwirrkurra and Kintore.
