In NAIDOC Week 2025, join us for a creative, intergenerational workshop with Gumbaynggirr textile artist Sancia Ridgeway inspired by the exhibition Seeing Sydney, Knowing Country, on now at the Museum of Sydney.

Sancia will guide you as you discover the colours of Country through a range of images of landscapes that will be used as inspiration for your artwork.

You’ll learn how to create a simple woven object that will be added to a communal artwork displayed in the museum.

  • No experience is necessary, all materials provided.

  • Suitable for ages 8+

  • Parents and carers will need to remain with participants for the duration of the workshop but do not require a ticket.

This is a drop-in workshop and you're welcome to attend at any time during the day.
