The Whirlwind Within: Vibrant Flute and Piano Concert

We are thrilled to announce an evening with the scintillating Singapore-based duo of Roberto Álvarez (flute) and Kseniia Vokhmianina (piano), performing a vibrant program based on their wonderful 2022 album, "The Whirlwind Within"!

Both highly-regarded and awarded international solo and ensemble musicians, Roberto and Kseniia came together for their debut album in 2022, presenting “colourful and refreshing repertoire that they hope will spin listeners’ emotions with a touch of jazz, folk, classical and Latin styles”.

In their concert series in Melbourne and Sydney, they are presenting the Australian premieres of works by James Rae, Daniel Sánchez Velasco, Gonzalo Casielles Camblor and Pablo Aguirre.

After hearing Roberto and Kseniia perform their works, the composers had these delighted comments:
