Opera in the Pub at The Harold – "Opera's Fools"
Tuesday 2 April from 7:30pm to 9:30pm
Opera Bites has partnered with The Harold in Glebe to bring you the world’s favourite opera highlights in the relaxed environs of a great local pub.
Tickets are $45 (+ booking fee) and include a 90-minute, fully costumed show, upstairs at The Harold. Show starts at 7:30pm.
Fabulous food and drinks available for separate purchase at the venue. Happy Hour from 5-7pm. All day kitchen open till 10pm for pre-, mid- or post-show dining.
Opera's Fools
They say that the key to comedy is timing and, since the date for April’s Opera in the Pub falls on April 2nd, we thought there would be no better time to explore Opera’s Fools! Meet opera’s funny-men (and women) with beloved favourites from The Magic Flute, The Elixir of Love, Don Pasquale, The Barber of Seville and more. There’ll also be fools for love and a fair share of tragedy too (Pagliacci or Rigoletto spring to mind!). Join Opera Bites for an evening full of laughter and tears, the day after April Fool’s Day!
