Sunday 20 July from 10am to 1pm
Resilience is an invaluable tool in helping us navigate the ups and downs of modern life. It is a strong and stable, yet flexible mind that enables us to manage the many challenges of life in a positive way.
Buddha understood the difficulties of life. He taught simple methods to manage these difficulties. Fortunately for us, these methods are entirely applicable to this modern world. Through Buddha’s great compassion, we can utilise these tools and navigate difficulties with a peaceful, stable and loving mind, in the process developing and growing our resilience.
This half day course offers a wonderful opportunity to gain some experience and understanding of these resilience-building practices and minds. We will learn that patient acceptance of any given situation, compassion for others involved, and the ability to tap into the immense space, peace and clarity within our minds, provide an easily accessible source of resilience that empowers us to deal with very many difficulties that modern life presents.
There will be guided meditations, inspiring teachings and an opportunity to enjoy the company of a community of like-minded people.
