Remember that nineties TV show Don’t Forget Your Toothbrush? Tim Ferguson rallies the studio audience to bleat in unison,

Born and bred in Newcastle, Lou packed her toothbrush and moved to New York City to study acting with David Mamet and William H Macy's Atlantic Theatre Company. Mamet & Macy encourage students to make their own work and thus The Lou Chapman Show was born – an ever-evolving theatrical feast of dangerous ideas and misfit characters revealed in a hilarious rant against everything.

Lou is a skilled storyteller and actress. She delves into the psyche of characters; tries on their lives like a costume; becomes an instrument for their stories, expressing their point of view; connecting with an audience to share a laugh and a cry, and together, ponder why.
