The Iron Gate is back in 2024! We are excited to return for another weekend of unbelievable talent and unparalleled energy at the Hordern Pavilion in Moore Park.

Over the last year we have hand-picked some of the world’s best and most respected international tattoo artists and are bringing them to Australian shores. With the entire Australian and New Zealand tattoo industry backing the event, we are focusing on only the highest quality work.

Whether it’s Japanese/oriental, traditional, neo traditional, realism, colour realism, black and grey, tribal, geometric, pattern work, fine line, Chicano, black work, anime, we have the best artist within each style of tattooing, so there will be something for you!

We are reuniting the best tattooers within the community and showcasing the diversity and talent within Australian tattooing. This event is the new bench mark for Australian tattoo conventions. The Iron Gate is the event to get together, get tattooed, share ideas, see art exhibitions, partake in tattoo talks and seminars, see some of the best custom motorcycles and hotrods, meet new people, and connect with some of your favourite artists. We will be announcing more artists leading up to the event, so stay tuned! Australia, we’re bringing something special for year of the dragon! Welcome to the Iron Gate!
