Award-winning feature documentary about a revolutionary welfare program that brings together traumatised ex-racehorses and traumatised military veterans – to help rebuild each other, and transform lives.
Set against the stunning backdrop of the NSW Southern Highlands, this is an inspiring journey of recovery from two very different worlds. As the horses and veterans learn to trust each other, both groups begin to overcome their fears. For the veterans and first responders dealing with trauma, anxiety, depression, homelessness and suicide, the program enables them to re-engage with life. For the horses, it’s literally a new lease on life.
The premiere will be followed by a Q&A with the cast/crew hosted by iconic actor Bryan Brown.
