The Art of Collage (6-11yrs)

In this exciting and hands-on class, young artists will dive into the world of collage using colourful magazine images and other materials to create unique, one-of-a-kind artworks! Students will learn how to cut, arrange, and glue different pieces to form fun, imaginative scenes, characters, and designs. Whether it's creating a dream world, a self-portrait, or a totally abstract masterpiece.

Throughout the class, kids will:

• Learn how to choose and cut out images from magazines to use in their collages.

• Experiment with layering and arranging materials to tell a story or create a theme.

• Explore colour, texture, and composition in their artwork.

• Create a finished collage that is all their own, full of personality and creativity.
