Celebrate an intimate Thanksgiving at NOLA Smokehouse and Bar with a curated Feasting menu full of seasonal surprises and traditional delights, personally presented to you by Master Blender of Westward Whiskey, Miles Munroe.
Miles joined Westward in 2013 to help increase production of the company’s whiskeys and today spearheads all blending sessions with a team of 11 who collectively produce 35 barrels per week. His aptitude for taste plays a key role in ensuring quality while also sparking his creativity. After crafting a custom flavour wheel for Westward to define its profile, he drew inspiration from his brewing background, seamlessly infusing stout beer into the cask finish. This innovation perfectly complemented Westward’s signature traits, giving birth to the acclaimed stout cask finish. This remarkable achievement clinched a Gold Medal at the prestigious San Francisco World Spirits Competition.
This exclusive Westward Thanksgiving intimate dinner experience in NOLA’s French Quarter private dining room begins with a bespoke Westward cocktail crafted by NOLA’s talented bar team. You’ll enjoy a sharing style Thanksgiving feast including an entire whole creole roasted turkey, by Executive Chef Davyd Luke, and 4 expressions of Westward’s whiskeys: Westward Whiskey Original, Pinot Noir Cask, Stout Cask & Cask Strength.
And of course, you can’t leave a Thanksgiving dinner without pumpkin pie! Miles will be sharing stories about the distillery’s history as well as walking you through the whiskey tastings.
