Tech power driving social justice

Technology is making its mark in the areas of social justice and legal access. AI, online platforms and apps are just a few examples of the power of tech to drive effective outcomes for individuals and communities. There is huge potential for further tech power to deliver better outcomes for forgotten, marginalised and vulnerable clients.

Join our panel of experts including Sophie Farthing, Head of Policy at the Human Technology Institute, UTS; Dominic Woolrych, Co-founder & CEO at Lawpath, Melissa Fai, partner in Gilbert + Tobin’s Tech + IP group specialising in technology and digital law, and Rachel Polt-Cai, legal chatbot creator for Marrickville Legal Centre; as they reflect on how tech and social justice are working together to achieve positive results for these clients. They will also give us a window into the future to better understand the potential of tech-driven initiatives to significantly improve access to the law.

Guests will have the opportunity to network with alumni, external partners, students and academics, and continue the social justice and technology discussion.
