Tufting Class for Beginners: Make a Tufted Rug

Spend some relaxing time with friends and loved ones doing this unique customised art activity and create your own tufting art!

During this hands-on, four to five hour class, you'll learn how to make a custom tufted rug using a tufting gun and yarn.

Prepare an image that you would like to transform into woollen art and we'll use a projector to transfer your design/drawing onto the primary fabric.

As we guide you through the process, you'll have a selection of more than 50 colours of yarn to choose from. You'll slowly make your rug and see your design come to life—tuft by tuft!

We can also take you through how to add the finishing touches to your handmade rug so you can take it home and use it.
