Every day, 9am to 5pm Tuesday 4 February to Thursday 27 February
Discover the captivating work of artist Zeina Saadie in her upcoming exhibition Tangled Unity, on display in NSW Parliament’s Fountain Court throughout February.
Born to a family of art collectors, Zeina Saadie was raised in Lebanon where, amidst military conflict, she found solace and self-expression through art. Relocating to Sydney in 1999, Zeina’s practice has evolved to reflect some of the styles and influences of her adopted home in Australia.
Tangled Unity features a body of mixed media paintings which invite visitors to contemplate the connections and synergies existing between our memories, dreams, and present surroundings.
Within palettes of ‘healing’ colours, bold marks and textures depict figures, the varied landscapes of Lebanon and Australia, or the dreamscapes of Zeina’s imagination.
The exhibition is being hosted at NSW Parliament by the Hon Anthony Roberts MP, Member for Lane Cove.
Visit the free exhibition at NSW Parliament House on weekdays, 9am to 5pm from 4 to 27 February 2025. Access is to the left of the building via the security gatehouse.
