Feel like an island princess for a day!

In this course you will learn an ‘aparima hīmene style choreography, ‘aparima means mimic of the hands and hīmene means song or lyric. Let the rhythm of the ukulele transport you the magical island of Tahiti while you learn about their culture and way of life.

To finalise the course, we will have a day at the beach where you will be able to learn how to make a flower crown and perform the choreography for a dance video.

Covid-18 safe guidelines:

  • In order to keep physical distancing and hygiene principles to protect the community from the spread of Covid-19, spots are limited for the workshop and registration is mandatory.

  • Please bring you own towel and water bottle.

  • You will be asked to wash your hands or use hand sanitiser at the entrance.
