Sungirl Feast of Terminalia by Ally McLean is now exhibiting in the you’re okay by Brand X activation foyer space at the City of Sydney Creative Studios.

Celestial creatures gather to celebrate Terminalia, an ancient Roman festival in honour of the god Terminus, who presided over boundaries. Sungirl beings – moons, stars, planets, demons, weather systems – adorn themselves in party attire and manically celebrate breaching the boundary between one reality and the next. The mess of the feast, displayed through distorted figures, smeared makeup, spilled drinks, sloppy plates and rotten leftovers, is a reminder of the beauty and heartache of saying goodbye.

Come check out Ally's celestial creatures inside the City of Sydney Creative Studios. Foyer open 7am to 3pm, Monday to Friday.
