Making art is hard. You have the burning desire to do it, but you get so focused on the outcome that it all feels too overwhelming. Sometimes these constraints are very, very real… time, money and space (in this economy!) and sometimes it can be as simple as "well I don’t have a really good, polished idea".
In this session you don’t need one, we are going to let go of the outcome and focus on process so you can get an idea cooking. With an emphasis on an improvisation style I call ‘wild play’ and artistic collaboration, I’m going to share with you what I’ve learned as a core artist of The Last Great Hunt and how I approach making performance.
This session is for makers of any level of experience who are interested in improvisational process and collaborating with other like-minded artists.
Adriane Daff is an actor, writer, theatre-maker and Core Artist of The Last Great Hunt. Adriane has most recently appeared in 'idk' for Force Majeure at Carriageworks (Sydney) and Arts House (Melbourne) and ‘The Lost Boys’ presented by Little Eggs Collective at the Seymour Centre.
