Everyone is invited to join the fun and meet the team at our free open day. Come and explore St Helen's Community Centre. Enjoy talks, activities and a light lunch and hear from local community groups and organisations.
10am: Seniors Rights Service - Learn about what the Seniors Rights Service does, the aged care charter and legal considerations such as power of attorney and enduring guardianship.
10am to midday - Drop in JP service
11am - Morning tea
11:30am - Craft make a suncatcher session During this workshop you'll learn how to make a simple suncatcher to take home. This activity is presented by our makers morning craft group volunteers.
11:30am - Screen printing During this 1-hour workshop you'll work with our sewing and mending tutor to learn how to screen print beautiful designs on re-usable bags. Spaces limited so book in early.
12:30pm - Lunch
1:15pm - Music and movement class Join a fun and exciting class that combines music, movement and meditation with an experienced tutor.
2:30pm - Meditation class During this 1-hour session you will enjoy a guided meditation session focusing on inner peace, happiness and practical wisdom

2:30pm - Garden tour
All day drop-in activities presented by JNC
Knitting group: Find out about JNC's Wrapped with Love knitting group. Make a square, get knitting advice and learn a stitch or 2.
Digital hub: Drop in and chat with the JNC's volunteers about all your digital device questions
Volunteer hub: Talk to the JNC staff about volunteer opportunities in their organisation. Learn about theirs services and how you can contribute.
Bookings recommended for each activity and talk as places are limited. Book a ticket for each activity or talk you would like to attend.
