Join this live event featuring talented local writers, performers, and musicians as they showcase stories and sounds inspired by the diverse places, people and events of Sydney.

You'll uncover untold stories set in iconic locations like Sydney Town Hall and the Archibald Fountain, as well as explore the lesser-known and hidden corners of this remarkable city.

Anna Funder author of Heaven, Hell & Limbo, delves into captivating narratives that unveil the intriguing history of Parramatta Road, Broadway, where a brothel, a religious icon store, and a heavy metal–goth shop once stood side by side.

Writer Vanessa Berry reveals her secret discovery within the bustling St Martins office tower block in the heart of the city centre.

We uncover the unexpected connection between an Annandale business founded by 2 brothers from Friuli, Italy, and the underground crypt at St Mary’s Cathedral.

Tanya Vavilova's curiosity is stimulated by an abandoned slow cooker full of someone's dinner in a Surry Hills laneway, among other intriguing stories.

Much like our vibrant and beloved metropolis, these tales are brimming with romance and comedy, beauty, and ugliness, as well as wit and wonder.

This live event is presented by Spineless Wonders with the support of the City of Sydney Library.
