When

Friday 23 June 2023 from 3pm to 6pm

A fun inclusive sensory activity session for young people ages 13 to 18. Designed to help develop social and communication skills, build independence, increase individual self-awareness and improve problem solving skills.

Exploration through creativity with different sensory objects that can be used to self soothe, communicate and engage. This event will cultivate connection and self expression allowing young people to explore in a safe inclusive environment.

There will be different activity stations where you can choose different mediums and make objects that feel good to you. Make a calming glitter jar, stress ball, homemade slime and kinetic sand and tactile balloons with different fillings.

You'll create your own sensory box filled with your objects to take home and use.

We aim to deliver inclusive and accessible events and activities. If you have any particular access or communication needs, please contact youth team leader Lorraine Ventura on 02 8512 8771 or (mailto: lventura@cityofsydney.nsw.gov.au).
