Sensoria

Atypical is a Sydney-based sensory space that uses scent as a way to question the world around us.

Sensoria is a sixty-minute seated experience created in collaboration with sound artist Melody Pak. Using only natural aromatic materials and live sound composition, the work moves through tension and release — through smell, through sound, through the body.

There is no narrative to follow. No instruction. Only presence, breath, and what the senses begin to notice when given time and space to feel.

Guests will be welcomed with drinks and something to eat before the experience begins.

Sensoria is a safe space for everyone. Any disrespectful behaviour will not be tolerated and may result in being asked to leave.

IMPORTANT: this event contains intense sound and scent material that may be uncomfortable for people with sensory sensitivities. Attendees are encouraged to consider this before booking.
