Santa photos at IKEA Tempe

With the Christmas season fast approaching, IKEA Australia is giving their Sydney customers and die-hard superfans a world-first opportunity – to get a festive photo with a never-before-seen blue and yellow IKEA Santa. 

From Friday November 18 until Sunday November 20, between 10am and 3pm each day, Tempe’s Swedish dining hall will be transformed into the perfect festive photo setting, enabling Sydneysiders to get their hands on two free limited-edition postcard sized photos to hang on the mantelpiece.  

The unique photo backdrop is unlike anything Aussies have seen before and will showcase customers raising a toast around a festive Swedish dining table, alongside the star of the show – the IKEA Santa, dressed in a suit complete with signature blue and yellow colours. What’s more, to celebrate the season of giving, each photo taken also treats customers to either a free signature IKEA hotdog or cup of famous meatballs.

“We hope our Sydney customers enjoy this IKEA twist on tradition. We’re looking forward to seeing how our customers respond to our IKEA Santa, and if people really love it we will see if we can find him a sustainable electric vehicle to jet around the country to all stores next year!”
