Friday 20 June from 5:30pm to 8:30pm Saturday 21 June from 7am to 8:30pm Sunday 22 June from 7am to 8:30pm Monday 23 June from 7am to 11am
By removing our day-to-day distractions and spending time in a peaceful environment we can deepen our meditation practice and develop surprising levels of insight.
In an increasingly hectic world, full of uncertainty and conflict, it is easy to give up hope and turn away from others’ suffering.
Geshe Kelsang Gyatso’s The New Eight Steps to Happiness, sets out the ancient methods for healing our mind and the world, through the power of love, compassion and wisdom, that fit perfectly in our modern times.
Many benefits come from this practice. The sense of peace that it generates will have a profoundly positive impact on your mind, and this will flow into your interactions with others.
During this weekend retreat you will have the opportunity to experience the meditations and cultivate special insights into the Buddhist path of loving kindness.
As a result, you will feel empowered and confident in your own spiritual potential, and the potential for everyone, everywhere, to accomplish the happiness we all long for.
Everyone is welcome to engage in this retreat.
In the mornings we will observe silence until 12.30pm each day, to deepen the experience of meditation and give participants the opportunity for quiet contemplation.
