Relaxed Classics with the Sydney Symphony

When

Saturday 15 February from 10am to 12pm

Cost

Starting from: $35

Experience the magic of a live symphony orchestra performing some of the most beautiful music ever written, in a laid-back concert environment open to all.

With the freedom to move around, reduced lighting and a separate quiet space, this relaxed concert is especially for those who find the traditional concert experience hard to navigate.

We welcome anyone who would prefer a low-stress morning performance – including those with sensory sensitivities including autism, parents and carers with babies, and children of all ages – to experience the magic of live orchestral music for themselves.

Featuring a selection of beloved classical masterpieces including Max Richter’s reimagining of Vivaldi’s Four Seasons, Ravel’s mesmerising Bolero, plus highlights from Mendelssohn’s magical A Midsummer Night’s Dream, Bizet’s passionate Carmen and more. Led by Conductor in Residence Benjamin Northey, it’s the perfect way to surround yourself with this beautiful music.
