About Bob Shaw

Bob Shaw grew up in Lane Cove and raised his family in various parts of Sydney. He is a landscape, portrait, and still-life photographer.

Bob is a member of the Castle Hill RSL Photography Club, the St George Leagues Club Photographic Society, the Cronulla Sharks Photography Club, the Kiama - Shellharbour Camera Club, the Australian Photographic Society, and the Australian Institute of Professional Photographers.

In 2012, Bob won Best Monochrome Print and Print of the Year for "Focus On Me," and in 2012 and 2013 he was Cronulla Sharks Photography Club's Digital Champion.

After relocating to Kiama in 2014, Bob concentrated on photographing the stunning South Coast of New South Wales.

In 2016, Bob provided the media with a photograph of the Big No protest against the amalgamation of the Kiama Council. He photographed Kiama and Shellharbour World War II veterans for the RSL, Australian War Memorial, and Australian Institute of Professional Photographers' "Reflections" Project.

Bob's exhibition "Explore The Kiama Coast Walk" was on display at the Kiama Library in February 2016. The 12 images and accompanying book are available on the AspirationImages.com website.

Bob took over the Kiama Arts Trail in May 2016 to promote the arts and artists in the Kiama area.

In 2021, he and his wife Liz relocated to Woy Woy, NSW, where he began photographing the stunning Central Coast.
