Red Bull BC One is a global one-on-one breaking competition.
The Red Bull BC One Cypher Australia will see the best 16 B-boys and 8 B-girls from across the country compete to become Australia's champion and represent at the World Final, this year held at Roland Garros in Paris, France.
Competitors go head-to-head in knock-out battles, where skills, technique, spontaneity, and creativity will determine who will be crowned the Australian champion.
Thew event will also feature an exclusive mid-show performance showcasing the history of local Hip Hop talent, presented in partnership with Champion.
Foundation MC Sereck (Def Wish Cast) and Trey (Tapastry), two artists with decades worth of contributions to Australian Hip Hop will take to the stage. Joining them and representing the crop of future leaders are Sophiya and Gold Fang who are currently pushing new boundaries in the Australian Hip Hop scene.
Holding it down on the turntables all night will be veteran DJ Shan Frenzie, who will also be performing special routines from the worlds of Hip-Hop, classic Breaks, Electro, and beyond in breaks between the Battles.
