Saturday 1 June from 10:45am to 2pm
Join us for a 3-hour cruise with Tribal Warrior during National Reconciliation Week.
Learn about the traditional culture, history and stories of Sydney Harbour aboard the Mari Nawi (Big Canoe). You’ll hear stories of the Gadigal, Guringai, Wangal, Gammeraigal and Wallumedegal peoples of Sydney Harbour and learn the Aboriginal names and meanings of significant Sydney landmarks.
The cruise includes a tour of Be-lang-le-wool (Clark Island) and a cultural performance. A light lunch, tea and coffee are provided.
This is a fantastic opportunity to learn about life pre-colonisation and the coastal lifestyle, traditional fishing methods and food gathering techniques of the First Peoples of Sydney.
The cruise is suitable for all ages. Children under 16 need to be supervised by an accompanying adult.
The cruise departs from the Eastern Pontoon, Circular Quay at 11am sharp. Please arrive by 10:45am. The cruise returns to Eastern Pontoon at 2pm.
Bookings are essential. You'll need to create an account to purchase tickets if you don't already have one.
