Come and join us at Sydney’s Inner City jungle warehouse makerspace. Stepping into a warehouse filled with over 350+ indoor house plants, you’ll be in the best place to do a plant workshop in Sydney.

You will get to do our infamous Rainforest Terrarium Workshop! Most terrarium workshops have glassware that is open top, so they need to be watered. Our enclosed rainforest terrariums are luscious little worlds that are fully self-sustaining and self-watering. So you get to find it a sweet spot at home and then sit back, relax, and watch your tiny ecosystem thrive.

You will learn all about terrariums, terrarium plants, how to make a terrarium, what is the right glass for terrariums, what different substrate layers people do, how to make substrate, terrarium design, and so much more! You’ll make your own little lush plant world to take home and admire.

Your teacher will also coach you with some of the Plant Doctor’s tips for keeping indoor plants alive, so that you watch and care for your terrarium with confidence!

All our workshops are first-timer friendly, people of all skill levels and ages are welcome. All materials and terrarium plants (3) are provided, and we will have some refreshing drinks for you (alcoholic, or non-alcoholic). Everything you learn, like the Plant Doctor’s substrate recipe and functional layer design, you can also apply to any cool glassware you might find!
